Leaderboard and "Most Popular" posts reset
User reports that the "most popular" posts and the leaderboard for most likes have been reset/deleted. They mentioned "all of my and everyones posts get deleted" and "the leaderboard for most likes is reset". This seems to be a widespread issue from their perspective.

Me (and everyone ive talked to) hate this new “bettercampus” update and want to go back to the old one. There so many unwanted features that are all in-your-face with no way to get rid of them permanently, and its super buggy as well

im sorry but were litearly college students....
20 dollars a month….2 whole hamilton's a month to pay for something thats targeted twoards college students. sometimes i ONLY have 20 dollars to surivie off of for the month but yes of course i will use it to pay for random things like, ai, music, rainbow tracker, calander sync, etc (when might i add some of these things were FREE) Most of us just want to make college easier for ourselves, with either making the terrible webiste look better or just making doing assignments or tracking our assignemnts just a tad bit easier. for so long most of your features were free but yes now that the economy is garbage and you want money after the massive support which im sure ppl are wiling to give if you just made it OPTIONAL or even smarter choice 😉 a ONE TIME PAYMENT! no instead you go for the greedy option and see how much money you can squeeze out of us before everyone riots. a forum page for the peoples concerns yet it's obvious the only things you guys are willing to reply to are praises or problems you created that didnt need to happen in the first place. its sad and dissapointing and this may possibly be deleted like many other ppls messages (which is something yall should look into :) devs) but i hope at least one of you guys read and think for mabye mhh 10 seconds before ignroing everybodies critiques and opinions

This BetterCampus project needs to be its own separate thing. The average grades are completely off, the due sections aren’t showing what’s due, and now Canvas is actually HARDER to use than without the extension. The whole reason for the extension was to make life easier, not harder.

PLEASE let us have whatever color scheme we like
Why do we have to follow the whole contrast rules? Even for private themes, it still just forcibly changes the colors to be more muted without any user input. I would like to ask that this be reverted, or at the very least made into a setting that can be changed.

And I understand, there are a lot of people who will dissaprove of this suggestion but, keep on updating, keep this ITS AMAZING, just give us like a 7 day free trial, NOT TO CLICK ANY BUTTONS, I remember when they gave us premium or whatever when we first joined for 2 weeks, THAT WAS AMAZING!! But now in order to get that we have to click buttons, and it blocks our page because of GOGUARDIAN and SECURLY. so discord is also not an option either.

Does anyone else dislike the new BetterCampus update? It used to be a simple, clean extension for themes and keeping track of deadlines (BetterCanvas). Now it's cluttered with AI features nobody asked for, the UI is completely ruined, and half the old free features are paywalled. Please give us a legacy toggle to disable all the AI bloat and get the old, fast dashboard back. At least with the monetization it was optional and expected eventually. This feels like one of those B2B SaaS startup memes on reels.

I'm so sad with the new update!!! I haven't checked Canvas in a while, but I just opened mine and all of my cute custom themes that I spent hours on are all gone :( I feel heartbroken. My cute designs made me feel so much more motivated to work, and now the new UI is just ugly and customizing is stuck behind a paywall anyways. I just want my old theme back :(

Keeping it simple
I understand that innovation is good, but when it interferes with something that I've been working with for years, it seems very annoying and messes with my muscle memory. If at all possible, I would like the ability to change back to Legacy versions. Instead, whenever you push out a new update with the idea to add on new elements or change previously existing elements, have the ability to disable said elements or changes. I know this might be difficult, but it would be a huge help to people who are not as tech literate and struggle with changes. I had a hard enough time convincing my school’s IT department to unblock this add-on. Overall, I would really appreciate the ability to have canvas look like canvas.
