Voice Typing
I would love to have a feature where I could use voice typing when responding in discussion forms or text entries. I’ve been using google docs for the voice typing tool and I would love to have a feature in app so I wouldn’t have to copy and paste all the time. I don’t know if this is something that can be added through better campus or not, but I figured it would be worth a shot.
BetterCampus App & BetterCampus for Teachers/Parents
I have two ideas for BetterCampus that could make it a lot better: BetterCampus App: Canvas currently has an app, but it is outdated, hard to use, and not very practical. BetterCampus could make a modern, versatile app that is easy to use/understand and provides more functionality. Additionally, they could make it available to iOS, Android, iPadOS, MacOS, and Windows to make accessing Canvas even easier for students (and parents/teachers, below). BetterCampus for Teachers and Parents: Despite Canvas now being fun, easy to use, and beautiful for students, it is still ugly, old, and impractical for teachers and parents. BetterCampus for teachers and parents could be less customizable/fun than BetterCampus for students, and place more emphasis on reliability and tools (like AI integration, better grading interfaces, etc.) that make it easier to teach and help.
streak reset
Just switched to better campus, and my streak of over 350 days reset to when my last assignment was submitted. Super frustrating, and hoping to get a manual fix option implemented, or a way to submit a claim!

please bring back the colour coded tab icons, very helpful when working on multiple things :) also if this is still a thing, pls tell me where lmao

Personal Customization
What if, we could make it so that we can personally customize our canvas. Im not talking about themes, Im talking about layout and orginization. If we want we can put our grades somewhere more obvious so that it would be the first thing you see, or you can make certain items bigger or smaller. please hear me out.
Music.
What if there was free music choices. I wanna listen to my own jams without opening and loading everything through spotify. If we could get free music, then it would be 2 extentions in one mostly.🙏 pleez.
Make it easier to cancel free trial
I was trying to cancel my trial, and it was very confusing. I then pressed a button, thinking it would cancel my trial, and it immediately charged me. No “are you sure?” no saying I was buying it, nothing like that. So either make that a thing or make it easier to cancel the free trial.
BRING BACK THE OLD BETTER CAMPUS
Version 9.3.0 is terrible. It has everything more hidden. I can no longer take notes, view my grades, open my planner, or use the widgets from the left bar anymore without having to open the chrome extension, which takes much longer. I like the previous two versions, which we could either 1. edit the settings from the popup settings catalog on the right side of our screen or 2. the larger screen popup that showed the widgets, grades, planner, etc. all in one place.

I install the extension and it works for the first time bu after a refreash or reopn it just compleatly wipes its self and is no longer better
Please make an app!
I really want to have an app, so I can use my iPad and have themes + all the benefits of bettercampus on a mobile device, or atleast tablets/ipads.
New Feature: I... AM... BACK
Yea, I was grounded for most of the summer heh 😅 butt! 🐘 💨 I did get un-grounded only after July started! Anyways enough 🗣️ yappin abt me… A new feature suggestion I would love to use is a little tiny fidget that has a cool down of 5 to 10 minutes after use, it could be like a little squishy cat or rabbit (like that one type of video game “Elastic Man”). 🫠 And you can use it for like 5 minutes untill a cool down timer pops up so the person isn’t just playing with the fidget for the rest of the class or day! 😉
Export notes
The notes feature is really convenient, especially since I can make study sets with it. Since BetterCampus is a Chrome extension, however, I can only access these materials when I am on my laptop. Therefore, what I’m currently doing is copying everything and pasting it into a Google Doc. I believe being able to export the notes would be handy so that I can open them on other devices (such as my iPad and phone) if I don’t have my laptop with me. Please let us export/download them :)
Card image issues + Contrast Issues + Theme issues in geenral
Changing card Images: When I change an image on a card it does save. But lets say I want to edit that image or if a new course is added and I want to add an image to that card as well, my theme will “reset” and all of the images i have uploaded for the cards go back to normal. This happens for premade themes and ones I make myself Also, this happens when i change the color of a card/course through BetterCampus (I haven’t tried through regular canvas) The forced contrast changing is annoying. If I can see something, I can see it. I don’t need the site to force me to change it. Idk what happened but I feel like the settings and customizations for BetterCampus have gottens so confusing in general. It’s to bloated and overwhelming.
Task missing?
the extension has started showing “task missing” notifications for assignments that are not even due yet? wondering if anyone else has experienced this or if its a bug?

I cant sign back in after I signed up (Maybe bc I didn't complete the survey fully). whenever I try to get back in it will just give me a blurred screen. Pls fix this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is a very bad glitch for people who have pro edition bc they'll lose all their features. I think it is bc https://api.bettercampus.com/users/sync/pull throws an error when it tries to get data.
Where did the circle task tracker go???
I changed my browser from chrome to firefox after not using canvas for a summer, the entire UI changed but not the to-do list is just a list rather than the circle progress bar it used to have just one semester ago. Where did it go? Why can’t I use it anymore?
Additional Grading Systems
My school uses a General, Honors, and AP grading system in our GPA but Better Campus only lets me edit two systems, a Unweighted and Weighted system. Add the ability to add more systems if you need them.
